Djimi traore - Keep him?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I feel Djimi Traore is a bit of an unsung hero, he does more for the team than pundits think!

He is a good challenger, not that bad going forward.

Do we need a new left back, if so who?

Yeah we do need a new LB

When you compare Traore to Cole, Bridge and Heinze at our rivals, its clear he is not good enough if we want to make up ground on these teams next season.

He's improved under Rafa but i think rafa will bring someone in in the summer, move on traore, and keep warnock who has good potential as a LB.

Think we'll have to look abroad for a replacement, can't think of anyone off the top of my head though

rafa will replace him he still puts your heart in your mouth. Not good enough for where we want to go.

if djimi has a future here it may be as a centreback.

he needs a good few more solid composed games yet tho to be considered anywhere near championship winning standard

He's simply woeful and i can't for life of me see why i ever thought there was an ounce of potential there.

Not worth a carrot.

Bit harsh Stu hes saved our @rses on some occations this season.
I think hes come on leaps and bounds but hes not world class, but maybe we might get a few bob for him cause he hasnt been as awful as he was in the past few seasons.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Correction, he's saved his on @rse on some occasions this season. :D

Often his had to make up for a positional error with a recovery challenge.

He's improved this but Traore is simply not good enough, if we want to grow into a championship challenging side then players of the standard of Traore must be sold and replaced.

Have to agree . Time to make Warnock a first team regular .

The lad has the skill, has the heart , C'mon Rafa all the lad needs is more opportunity to gain experience.

weren't the blue sh#te on the verge of paying £1.5m for him last season? ???

can't remember why that deal fell through.

anyway, the guy has improved this season but imo he is nowhere near the standard we require if we want to move forward. :(
