For me Kuyt has been poor, in a good extent, because the context of the team has been poor.
I don't think Kuyt is one of the main culprits of our situation, regardless I can think of better players to cover his position.
The term was "very poor" Sabre and with Johnson in the team you need a more "defensive" midfielder that will track back and cover. We do have more creative and nice to watch players but none that do the "unseen work" as well for his position. We need grafters in the prem and he is a grafter. As for his form, it has been indicative of the team as a whole.
