Dirk kuyt - Peace everyone

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Dirk still has his limitations, like he always has.

But he has definitely made that right side position his own now.

I dont moan when I see he's playing now, whereas I used to.

DM worship is last thing we want on here

Would be even better if Tim Cahill had moved from CARDIFF to the bitters when in fact he went straight from MILLWALL to the bitters. I knew he played for Millwall, never remembered him playing for Cardiff so had to check

As for looking to lower leagues for players, if they're any blinking good we will end up paying over the odds for a player - and/or with no top flight experience. It's risky whichever way, but how often do you see Arsenal, Man Utd or Chelsea shopping in the lower leagues? Obvious quality like Ramsey, not much else springs readily to mind in their best XIs. I may not by in agreement with some of Rafa's signings, but he's shopping in the right districts if not always the right shops and right items. You want to find a QUALITY bargain you certainly don't shop at a rundown market stall or out the back of a van

Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

:D , i'm sorry about the cardiff mistake meant to type millwall . DM is a :censored: but there's no denying that he has done a good job at everton with  a shoestring of a budget , they are now a very tough team to beat and players like cahill and lescott have been bargins , even leighton baines who we were interested in . Wolves have a one or two players who will be availableon the cheap and could be useful for cover . However the footballing quality thoroughout the world this season has been poor . No one has really stood out bar barcelona's players . What i'd give to have xavi here , another alternative could be elano , he's unhappy at city and he can play anywhere across the midfield and is the creative sort of player we need in the team , wouldn't cost alot as well

Overrated english player , very very inconsistent . Spurs have been linked with him every transfer window . I won't be surprised if they end up signing him for 20 million . Adam Johnson is one for the future , has all the makings to be a top winger , just needs the right coach and rafa could help his game out

The way Dirk Kuyt and even Benayoun been playing this season it will be questionable to replace them with any decent winger. Because they are already very decent for us. Players from Middlesborogh or Everton? nahhhh... even Aaron Lennon I'm not sure how much of an improvement he will be. Instead of breaking this current group of players up i'd rather we pay a bit more money and go for a world class winger like ribery, or robben (yeah a :censored: i know), or silva...

Yes....adam johnson looks like the next one to make the grade..

He just scored for the U21s.

If boro is relegated, we should get him.

And Robert Huth would be an able replacement for hyppia too.

a penalty wasn't it? Not sure why he was taking them since he doesn't for his club

Not usually no but he has done for us in the past, not just in shootouts but in big games too. One of the derbies he scored both pens.
