i think benitez thinks kuyt is some wonder striker because ruud van horse face was dropped by the great van basten for kuyt.

so far i've seen nothing that even suggest kuyt is a striker never mind becoming a liverpool great.

my problem with him is he falls apart as soon as he reaches the penalty box...what sort strikers is nervous in that area.

that area is meant to be his domain his speciality, yet it seems he hates that area.

time and time again you see kuyt do great things to get to the penalty box then just go blank, and does not setup a goal or score a goal.

i think he has forgotten what got him success in the past and needs to be reminded either by the coaches or somebody in the team.....there has to be more to him than the trash he has shown us.

people have started moaning about vorenin, yet i've seen more hope in him in a couple of games, than i've seen in kuyt in a couple of seasons.....they are both junk but aleast vorenin knows how to score.

i think its time for kuyt to stop that running around foolishness
and get used to hanging around the penalty box, so that he can master that area.

when i watch kuyt it looks like he is going through some simple trash training ground routine.

i've seen nothing new from him in matches just the same :censored:.

quite clearly he needs coaching input to bring out whatever he has and to add more.

i want to see new stuff from kuyt, but fear with borenitez coaching the team all he has to offer is tactics rather than ways to improve a player.

benitez was never a classy player,so if he had any ideas on improving a player he might of used it on himself when playing.

liverpool need a brazilian coach in there or something.

kuyt in my opinion is not a striker but i do think he has good blance and mobility and could be turned into a good midfield player by a good coach...benitez is only good at tactics.

i don't know why liverpool has not got a the correct setup at the club.

other clubs have great scouts and director of football in place,so that if they end up with some clown of a manager they can sack him and the club is not in crisis.

instead liverpool end up having to put up with clowns like sounes, evan, houlier and now benitez.

some liverpool fans are so scared of going back to the :censored: that houlier served up that they are scared of losing benitez.

before it was the same with houlier.
people were so scared of not winning anything like under evans, that they sang and chanted houliers name because he won a not too special treble.

some liverpool fans have become footballing tramps just happy and grateful to accept anything that is on offer.

they have sunk so low that they have forgotten what a great club liverpool is.

i'm no scrounger who will accept any trash offered to me...i want the best.

being forced to pretend kuyt is somebody we should get behind, is a very low place to be as a liverpool fan when we have had a list of great strikers in the past.

i know mates who were willing to wait and get behind smicer biscan and people like that.

these clowns have left liverpool and done nothing thus proving the point they were junk to begin with.

i thought when benitez came in it would be the end of the trashy players....nope its his speciality.

Kuyt is a forward and a forwards job is to score goals, so either Kuyt isn't up to it or Benitez doesn't like goalscorers. After all when we signed Crouch he didn't score for 17 games but was picked week in week out, last year Crouch was our top scorer but can't get a game for love nor money. Torres this year, gets a hattrick against Reading and is dropped the following week. So when I think about it I don't blame Kuyt for not scoring, because if he did, Benitez would drop him :p

Going back to Saint's point saying we need a Beardsley/Dalglish, I think considering how difficult it is for Kuyt to score over here, he might be the perfect player to do that role and slide balls through for Torres, but Kuyt can't do that while he is on the half way line or right wing. He needs to be told not to move further than 25 yards away from the opposition goal.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Jeff Capes, Liverpool were at their best before anything called director of football existed, now you're saying we need one, that's not the best. The best is plain and simple. "Football is a simple game, it's people who make it complicated." such accurate words said by the great man himself. Benitez like the majority of modern day managers over complicates things. Arsenal play great passing football and are sitting neatly on the top of the Premiership. We need to go back to pass and move. It's the only thing that works, and it's been proven time and time and time again.

I'm puzzled by Crouch not starting games ahead of this so-called striker.  Dirk Kuyt must surely be the worst striker in England?
