Every player at Didi's class and experience will do the same thing if he is 32, 1 year of contract remaining and approached by a HOME top class club.
I believe he would be happy to stay if assured his place is secured for extra contract.
But such term of contract remaining with the possibility of his leaving under Bosman makes it difficult for someone up there to have his place secured.
