why consider d.alves when u can get hossan kaabi for much more cheaper? and he has an amazing dribbling ability for a defender.

I think Alves was not getting bought to play full back, he was getting bought as a winger.  Can't say I have seen much of him myself but what I have seen he has impressed me, like his display against spurs he took the .

i'd say this whole alves thing is definately dead now with finnan signing a new contract, i dont think finnan would sign a new contract if he thought he was going to play second fiddle to alves.
