I like old Roy but Dalglish is the man to inject some confidence into this mess of a club right now!

So my Poll question is this;

Hypotethically speaking, if the shortlist came down to the final 2 candidates being Dalglish or Hodgson, who would you give the job to and why?

For arguments sake, there are no other alternative candidates, just Kenny or Roy.

I'd stick to starting match threads if I were you, was pretty obvious there isn't much love for Woy on these boards and the poll confirms that.

The only titles Woy has won since 1989 is the Danish Superliga with FC Copenhagen (00/01), the Danish Super Cup (2001) and farcically his LMA award is listed as honours rather than awards

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Hodgson

So basically no major title in any major league. Kenny won the Premiership in 94/95 and his record p1sses all over Woy's. So comments on "interim manager" if you compare Kenny to Woy and what each has achieved as a manager, and I don't rate mid-table, runs in mickey mouse cups and avoiding relegation as enough of an achievement for a club of our standing (overall, not last season's finish)

The fact that we are even being linked with him is a complete and utter joke.

it has to kenny over Roy.

kenny would unite the fans and the majority of players and he'd get us playing some attractive footy again.  And there is no pressure on him after last season.

While we might be impatient, I'm sure the owners have their own agenda and will wait as long as possible to see who is available after the World Cup. Maybe their target is at the World Cup - but please not Woy

A pointless thread! Every Liverpool fan will vote Kenny. But its just not the time for a return of the king! Id love Kenny there, with big Jan as a coach. But them two and CP and MB would crucify him. Then our memories are soured! Dont believe me, look at Souness! I still think the guy is great and he cares passionately for us, but there are many LFC fans that dislike him. Hindsight  is a great thing. He'd have done things differently im sure if you asked him. The foreigners rule did him. Too much change too fast did him. Upsetting out veterans at the time etc. However, he gave robbie, macca and jamie their chances.

Lets not sour Kenny with what could happen. An ideal world would be for new rich owners and kenny at the helm. But its not gonna happen just yet
