1. kewell looked a lot better (went passed ppl and delivered some good crosses)
2. nando looked a lot sharper (create chances for himself, should'nt of been taken off)
3. now we are out of the cup, less games to play therefore a less cluttered fixture list

However, they negatives are that
1. There is a lack of communication amongst the team
2. crouch seems to be getting worse
3. youngsters like raven, potter and whitbread look average

I agree with all of these points except the being out of the cup as a plus point - In reality this was our only real chance of getting into Europe again, i really dont think we will get into europe via the league (AGAIN)

not to worry...I've seen better Liverpool teams get knocked out this early.....this will serve as another learning curve for Rafa and his interchangeable team of 22 players ;were you pool any 11 and introduce them to each other before K.O. so they know who they will be playing with today.

Its hard to hide from the shame of it all.
Just when we thought it couldnt get any worse an all. Im now starting to worry. I dont like the way we concede too easily and we're making :censored: teams look good. Time to get back to winning ways but every time we play its with a different team and its so hard to find consistency when the players dont know each others roles. I dont like to bitch about the team or the boss but its high time we started flying and not falling!!

The only way to get consistency is to play your best 11 and stick with it

if we kept liverpool British, half the team would be out on suspensions of some sort or another.

Didnt see the match tonight cos I was down the pub so have no idea what went wrong with tactics or playing personal.  However, 2:1 Palace says it all.  We are still overly reliant on Gerrard and before we can progress several players in this team need to step up and accept some responsibility.  The quality is there, as is the squad depth.  I just feel too many players are coasting.  Urgency and dynamisn are what is required now, starting this weekend against West Ham.

Ive just woke (because of timezones) but I feel like Im having a nightmare !!!!

They say a good team never loses twice in a row , we never play the same personel twice in a row.

Im off to bed and when I wake up , Im gonna comeback and check this wasnt a nightmare  :sleep  :sniffle

i watched the game mate, 2.45am here when it started. as soon as I saw the team i thought wtf.

as far as i am concerned last night was a must win game, if only or confidence, but then i saw the defence consisted of two players playing their first games of the season and a goalkeeper playing his first game of the season.

i think for the second season in a row the manager failed to take the threat of a lower league team seriously and play his strongest team.

when will he learn, play your strongest team for every game
