hey, anyone remember the time when liverpool played crusaders in the european cup around 1977? i think, i am only 17 and it would b nice 2 hear if any one has any memories of these games? i hear crusaders got a standing ovation from the kop in the return leg? could b my dad winding me up though. haha. as i said, it would b nice 2 hear any memories (good or bad) about the game. unfortunately crusaders were relegated to the first division last season via a play off. would b nice 2 hear about some of the gd times. cheers.

It's all true mate, wasn't there personally, but I have read about it. Where are you from anyway? I have few mate's who live over in that direction ( Sea View ).

I fancy the Glen's to beat Shelbourne tonight, think they can do it. I'd love them to get to the group stage's... :D :D

Neh, in all honesty, I love to see the Glen's doing well and I check their score's every week etc, but I don't actually attend any game's, too much bollox involved.

Know what you mean. But i just love the local game, people run it down to quickly without really giving it a chance. All that other :censored: has died away a lot but like everything it’s a few fools that give it a bad rap

I hear ya, I used to go and watch regularly before all the :censored:. My little cousin had the sh*t scared out of him at the game where the Blue's men got onto the pitch and started pinging thing's, kid's don't need to be seeing thing's like that.

However, good time's can still be had at in the Irish League, I just wish the FA would do more to help generate more interest and more up coming talent.

kop 1892- i live in coleraine, bout 60 miles from belfast. still travel up 2 c the wee crues every week. its great when u here the memories of the liverpool- crues matches in the social club. makes the hairs on the back of my neck stick up when i think the wee crues payed so well at anfield. i have a crues shirt from a couple of years ago that has a badge 2 celebrate the anniversary. and me 2 would like to wish the glens the best of luck 2nite.would b nice 2 c them do well for the irish league. and never 4get glenmen...were chris morgan, darren lockhart and elliott morris started there careers! still remember lockhart scoring a hat trick against the glens 4 us a couple of years ago. do u?
