.............for him to shade under?  :D Read rumours the other day that 'arry ISN'T willing to offer £10m despite someone's suggestion otherwise by the way.

Should we take £8m or hold out for £10m? He's already unsettled, should we risk him leaving for nothing at some point? If he isn't happy with playing for LFC then I say let him go, we should make a profit on him so what's the problem? He has an ordinary scoring record, if he thinks it is good enough to warrant a regular starting place then he's as mad as anyone who also thinks that

Id say 7-8Mil would be an acceptable price for him and at the end of the day you will know how desperate things are getting if it comes down to a time where we have to sell quick to raise quick funds.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

8-10 million.

If he was used more by Rafa we may of been able to get 10 plus, like .4.

I have also heard that the watch that Rafa bought Montse after Istanbul was giving off a lot of heat, and this has left a considerable hole in the ozone layer over the wirral, which has resulted in global warming, the melting of numerous ice caps and is the real reason those dolphins where washed up in Cornwall.

He's an established England international and I think we should certainly be looking for around £10million for him. Poor handling of the situation has killed any hopes of more than this, but we would have got a lot more a year ago.

Shame really as in any other side he will play a regular role, and get 15+ goals a season without doubt and pricetag would be over 10 million :(

Thought the sarcasm was brilliant Leon, gave me a chuckle anyway.
But to be fair with this one i dont think there is any way we can say that Rafa hasnt mishandled this situation.

He (Rafa) must have his reasons for telling him he was part of his plans last summer and then hardly playing him at all, allowing his contract to get so close to running out, devaluing him, now if we were not in financial difficulty and the whole world didnt know about it, that would be a bit easier to understand, but when it appears we are struggling to get the money to sign the players we want then its a major major error on Rafas part.

so now rafa needs to pick a player based on the fact that his value would go down if he doesn't play...

No based on the fact that the alternatives (in his position) where Kuyt and Voronin. Kuty performed better on the right in the last third of the season but was awful when he was keeping Crouch out of the team, Voronin....do i need to say anything ?

If rafa wasnt fussed on Crouch.....after bombing him in the champions league final (another mistake in imo) why did he reassure him he had a future and then ignore him for most of the season.

I like Rafa but am not having any of this sheeeeeeite that he didnt play Crouch cos he didnt deserve to be in the team, cos alot of the time he did.

Que Owzat with some twisted stats  :D
