Right I thought Id make a brief appearance just to say this.
I was one of the ones who said Rafa has lost the plot and should go....I criticised his tactics and like Steven Gerrard himself said the club have no chance of winning the Champions League and are only in it to consolidate.
But sadly a lot of babies on here took it the wrong way and because they have no lives of their own decided to make it personal and call for me to be banned.
Im not one of these attention seekers on here who say they wont be back and then come back 1 day later, Ive come on to congratulate Benitez and admit that so far hes proved me wrong.
Even if we do poorly next season Benitez will go down as a Anfield Legend tonight, not many teams will rise up from going 3-0 down in a European Cup Final and for me that showed real character.
So like Houllier, Benitez will go down as a name to remember and hes made a real impact in only his first year in charge, the Premiership next season will be his real test but congratulations to Rafa and the lads.
To not be able to defend it next season will be a joke.
But for tonight enjoy it, you have proved so many people wrong!
