Take Murphy, telling him that he's not good enough for his team, letting him leave & then the no nonense attitude toward Owen, Houllier would've lost Owen on a free no doubt. We've been treading water for two years & no matter what this is a step forward for Liverpool & a step forward for the supporters too if we want it to be.

I have no doubt that Rafa is the man, I never had that feeling about GH, I feel something special is happening at Anfield and as long as we finish in the top 4 I'll be happy as I feel in the next two years Rafa will have the squad he wants and we'll be seriously challenging

Seriously...to be a true supporter of any sports team you have to be in it for the long haul.  We're not in a situation where the team's going to disappear from the face of the earth if we don't win the premiership within one season.  There's nowhere to go but up; Warnock's performance alone should tell you that.  Rafa will adjust to the EPL, as will his signings.  Just suck it up, for f***'s sake.  If you think the world's going to end if Rafa doesn't bring us 4 trophies in his first year, you should be questioning just how loyal you really are to the club. 

Unless you've got 9 months to live...in which case I'm very sorry.

I agree he is the guy for the job, and in 4/5 months the right team will be in place and gelled nicely. I still think we wil finish above Man Utd though, in 3rd, possibly second.

I just worry when he changes it too much, players/ tactics etc. hope its not a regular thing. my team right now would be:

             Dudek

Josemi    Hypia   Carra    Risse

Garcia   Alonso  Gerrard  Warnock

        Baros        Cisse

and then just make the odd change here and there if players were underperforming. remember, i won football manager 2003 on the playstation!
