What a load of rubbish, we're all 100% behind every player who shows even the smallest amount of commitment reguardless of the ammount of talent they may posess. Kewell's attitude is unforgiveable as he is a player with an abundance of talent who just gives nothing in terms of commitment! Do yourself a favour and when Kewell goes and gets his next fat signing on fee, go with him!
Harry Kewell has got talent - nobody disgrees with that. What he lacks is the committment and passion to display that talent every game he plays in. Even at Leeds, he only seemed to perform when he was playing against the big teams. This attitude is unforgivable - the Premiership is won by teams who perform consistantly, putting away games against the likes of Cystal Palace, Southampton, etc.
I, for one, would love to see him get over his injury problems and start repaying the £60k per week - but I doubt it will happen - Rafa's patience may be wearing thin! It's a gamble - do we give Kewell another year, or do we cut our losses and put the £3M saved from his wages, and his transfer fee (bound to be seriously dented) into someone else?
I can't make my mind up!!!
But Stinger, Liverpool fans are the most loyal supporters of their team. We only demand that a player earns his money, money that me provide. We will only voice our distress at seeing a player give anything less than 100% commitment - FFS he requested to be taken off in a Cup Final!!!
We have had plenty of reasons and opportunities to "BOO" our team. Yet, we have shown remarkable restraint - always singing and chanting our "Love Songs" from the stands. Never once, this season (or any I can remember - I'm sure someone on here can confirm - JBG??) have I heard any booing from the stands.
If you were being paid £60k per week by your employer, and constantly calling in sick, and not performing your responsibilities, you would have been sacked by now.
So Stinger, before you go off ranting, and calling Liverpool Fan[atic]s "f*uck*heads", please take a step back, and look at the situation from our point-of-view.
