is this a nightmare i'm havin,, sell Cisse, keep Morientes? ????       this is why European clubs have Directors of Football who bring in players for the ""Coach""  to get the best out of.  its killin me to say, it but i'm starting to question Rafa's judgement on transfers. is the best coach in the world, just an average manager?? i hope not.
please prove me wrong Rafa.

Let me get this straight we win the euro championship, we win the super cup, finalists in the carling and your gonna question rafa??  His transfers are pretty decent if you ask me.  Sure there is work to be done, but let me remind you he has only been here one season so far and he does not have unlimited funds like chelski.  I can't believe your questioning him.

i'm not questioning his tactical genius, just his ability to spend other peoples money. i don't like being negative, i love LFC, but if i don't ask the questions then nobody will.
please prove me wrong Rafa.

why does everyone attack people who make constructive criticism? ??? what the :censored: is wrong with you???

a completely valid point was raised and there is no premise in questioning agoodmentality's love for the club.  personally i have faith in rafa's signings and yes he's made some not-so-spectacular ones (mori, nunez, josemi and a few others which i won't name because we got 'em for free)  but I will also start feeling negative about his movements in the transfer market IF he decides to sell our best striker.

Morientes hasn't set the world alight however when we signed him people who claim that he's p1ss poor now, were raving how he was a great signing and was going to be a kop legend.

Yeah I'm thinking Rafa is just and average manager, he is one one lucky son of a gun too and has no clue about players.

I mean look at his record at Valencia when he was given a laughable pathetic budget to spend on players....Go on take a look at his rubbish record....he brought the Primera League title to the Mestalla after 31 years in his FIRST season, and then went on to win another Primera League title and then a UEFA cup....All in a space of 3 years, BWAH what a jammy sod and average manager....

Then that moron average manager called señor Rafael Benítez comes to Liverpool ( unlucky for us ) and wins us the most prestigious trophy in world club football in his first season with the most AVERAGE of squads....then the jammy git wins us a super cup yesterday, plus he also got us to a Carling Cup final.

He obviously has no clue about players and can not spot talent to save his life, I mean who the hell are Aimar? Mista? Oliveira and Sissoko to name but a few? all of them absolute useless rubbish!!

Yep, Rafa has no clue about players and he is only an average manager and THAT’S IT!! BWAH!! YEAH RIGHT!! It´s really not an intelligent thing to suggest, in fact it´s a ludicrous thing to even imply....

Rafa is a true CHAMPION and an extremely intelligent man….he will make LOTS of mistakes during his LONG and successful spell with us, but boy are we gonna win a hell of a lot of titles under him.

Rafael is special, he has a special winning ability, and if anyone is intelligent with a good football brain they will see his great work and understand the decisions that he makes, though sometimes it seems baffling, you need to look a bit deeper into his thinking....he is working hard to make us perfect and he has only been with us for 1 season, and THATS ALL, remember that....

Juts trust him ok, he will 100% get it right in the end.

is it wrong that people on here have an opinion
the first post was valid and an opinion
R the rest of u sheep who have no thoughts on football or views
Our manager is great, dosent mean to say i have to agree with everything he says and does
Don't you people discuss football or have debates in your local pubs or before and after a game
i think we should keep cisse
i want owen back
i don't think morientes is performing and i would sooner see cisse start
i think pongolle should be sold
DON'T MEAN IT WILL HAPPEN, DON'T MEAN THE MANAGER AGREES WITH ME AND IT DON'T MEAN I DON'T RATE HIM OR HAVE CONFIDENCE IN HIM.
AND DON'T MEAN I'M ANY LESS OF A SUPPORTER THAN THE REST OF U.

It is surprising to hear people criticsise Rafa's transfer tactics, it really is. I personally think he has done very well in the transfer market for us. Alonso, Garcia and Sissoko are three quality long term players who could become legends here, yes he has made one or two duff signings, Pellegrino and Josemi but he cannot be blamed for Nando, his track record was second to none and it is not any fault of Rafa that the player has under performed. Likewise Nunez...he was part of a deal and given to us, I doubt Rafa had a choice of players from the Real Madrid squad when he sold Owen.
Every manager has made bad signings and sold players who have gone on to do great elsewhere. Fergie bought Bellion for example and sold Forlan.....Wenger who is renowned as superb transfer market manager bought Reyes who hasn't done a lot and he sold players like Boa morte who have done much better elsewhere. Maybe not the best examples off the top of my head but you see my point. If there is a manager out there who never buys bad players and never lets any good one's go and every player played to their maximum potential every game and he had a good tactical knowldge then his team would win every trophy every year. It is not the real world.
I am not having a pop at people questioning Rafa, he is in charge of our beloved club and the club will always come first but lets support him after he has already given us so much to cheer about in one year.
