True, I think next match, dental emergencies aside.  Gerrard will play an excellent game.  He always seems to play better w/o alonso, and he will be fired up for revenge.

.. the question also is "who are Chelsea".. outside this grt land of ours.. who really knows Chelsea.. and cares about them.. has developed historical allegance.. affection.. or indeed admiration for them ???

.. look at the facts re: the last 4 this year:

AC Milan winners 6 times
Liverpool FC       4 times
PSV Eindohoven  1 time  (1987-88)
Chelsea FC         0 times :D

... says it all really :)
