Some naughty teams to avoid there, the ones you have highlighted would all prove tricky at this time.

We cant take anything for granted after scrapinh through in previous seasons against the likes of haifa and graz.

we always seem to make hard work of champions league qualifiers. in the last three years we've lost the home leg twice and last season we scraped a win against haifa.

fenerbache is the one to avoid obviously. having said that, there's nobody there we should fear.

I couldn't give a monkey's who we get, as long as we don't ponce around. Get the job done professionally. I can't stand another year of Thursday night UEFA Cup football against the likes of Genk.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

It's these games that always seem to feck the start of our season up in recent years. There is that much pressure on to get into the groups phase that Rafa has put the stronger team out against the european minnows and the weaker team out in the premiership. TBH teams like this should be brushed aside by us with our recent history in the comp but we seem to make a meal out of these games. The sooner they are over and we're through the better.

Thats always the worry isnt it mate. Rafa resting key players in the league game to make sure of progress in the champions league.
Lets hope we get a p!ss poor side and beat them convincingly in the first leg, allowing Rafa to rest the big guns saving them for the league.

There's no team on that list that we shouldn't beat comfortably, and that even includes most of the seeded teams.

There's some tasty sides in that draw , in a funny kind of way i wouldn't mind being drawn against a decent side , just to keep us on our toes early on in the season ,if you know what i mean.

Wouldnt fancy Fenebache, but really don't want to go to Moscow at this early stage of the season, or all the usual political bs that goes with playin any team from Isreal, oh and  GBJH, whats wrong with Genk? :)

Am I the only one on here that think the seeding system is complete and utter s#ite?

It's UEFA, therefore I'm not surprised, but what the hell?

The actual event started at 11, but by the time all the ar$ing around with pointless videos and backslapping and all the other showbiz sh#t that goes on with these draws...our opponents will be known about ten minutes before this evening's kick off!
