CL 3rd rnd Qualifying Draw - Toulouse or not Toulouse

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Have a horrible feeling we will draw the mancs at some stage in this comp if we get through.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

lol I'm a celtic man and want to see rangers qualify for the CL.  To be honest after there perfomance the other night many of there fans think they will be way behind celtic this year.  I just thought they would get a tough draw.   As long as strachan goes with the right attitude in moscow celtic will be fine.

Ciggy the earliest we could play the Mancs would be the quarter finals, and they'll be playin UEFA Cup football by then, probably against Genk :eyebrow

Really can't argue with that draw. To be honest though, I hope this is the last season we have anything to do with the qualifying round.

And yeah, I can see quite a lot of Arsenal fans worrying about their prospects in the competition after drawing Prague. They should beat them, but having the first leg away could really put them in trouble.

Arsenal in Prague eh....

This was in yesterdays Times:

"Arsenal surely hoping for another tie against Sparta Prague. Wenger’s side have won all four of their meetings with the Czech Republic club and completed a Champions League double over them on their way to the final two seasons ago. Thierry Henry broke the club’s goalscoring record in the away game."

If I recall are Arsenal not now minus one Terrence Henry?

hello Guys !!!!

I'm from Toulouse and as you can guess, we are very happy and excited to play against THE GREAT LIVERPOOL !!!!
We are well-known for rugby but ..... you will have some surprises my friends !!!
Our coach has prayed a lot, he said "i really hope it will be Liverpool"
Guess why !!!

I'd say the opposite is true - I reckon Sparta have been dying to have another pop at Arsenal, particularly now.

Should be straightforward but we should not get complacent. Is it considered 'tricky' because they're French? I can see us losing one leg and winning it overall
