Cisse - Top goalscorer?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby madred » Mon Jul 26, 2004 4:38 pm

Just looked for odds on the top goalscorer in the prem and can get 25/1 for Cisse! Even my thinking is that he may have to have a season to settle in and get used to the prem but i cant help thinking that this may well worth putting a tenner on?? Could he do it?? Opinions??

Why not. I'd put a tenner on it. Who'd of thought Angel would have banged a shed load last season, Henry can't keep scoring for fun all the time and Ruud Van Horse face is going down hill. Maybe Kezman or Dragba will get the golden boot?

Depends on how the squad shapes up in the coming weeks. Really need a good right winger and a creative midfielder to provide the ammunition.

My thinking is if Rafa gets the system right for him we could seriously see him right up there with the likes of Henry, Van Nistelrooy and co?? I reckon we have a gem in our hands.

You can get 20/1 at plenty of bookmakers for Kezman.

Saw Kezman the other day against Celtic.  The man was on fire.  Definitely a good choice for those folks playing the premierleague.com fantasy league.

Cisse won't finish top scorer in my opinion. the chief beneficary if Cisse enjioys a successful  first season wil be Owen who has been starved of service and support for the last 2 seasons........

25/1 ? I'll give you 33/1 :D

It was a long and worthwhile wait.

Now the next dream is to have 2 of our strikers at the top of the EPL scoring charts.

hold on it may not be 2 lfc men at the top of the goal scoring -- it may be 3 --owen and baros were superb in the 1'st half and then cisse just ripped it up in the 2nd-- shoud have had a hat trick or more
cisse may just be the real thing -- but owen seems rejuvenated -- gotta be good for 25+ // just sounded happy and confident during half time interview
