Cisse or morientes - Dream team choices

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby SouthCoastShankly » Tue Jul 19, 2005 9:06 am

Deliberations have already started on which 2 liverpool players to include in the Dream team this year.

Last year saw some seriously unlucky choices with Cisse and Milan 'Can't hit a brick wall' Baros.

I'm tempted with Cisse again, i don't think Morientes will give you a good return for his price (i think he's gunna be a 6m player)

Other options are Reina, Gerrard or Alonso. Saying that Garcia proved a big hit last year.

Thoughts??

I tend not to pick Liverpool players in my Dream Teams as I think it jinxes them :D

But Gerrard would be my pick

Morientes can't hit a brick wall but he can hit the TNS goalie. He does'nt look the business so far in my opinion. Maybe ''given time'' the guy can prove himself. But he is no better than Baros at the moment. :blues:

Sissoko may be a choice but i don't like choosing players who are unfamiliar with the premiership style of play.

It would have to be Gerrard the papers love him, and he gets man of the match nearly every game.
I made the mistake of picking Cisse, then Morientes last year and got virtually no points.
Garcia would get quite alot though with his goals from midfield.

Someone mentioned Carragher, someone who I normally would not have thought of - but after his european exploits he may be an option.

Currently I'm swaying on Gerrard and Carragher, depending on the cost. If too high I may go Garcia

I dunno why though Zenden does not seem like he'll score loads this season. He looked a bit star struck in the Lederhosen and TNS matches

You can use three players from any given team in the Fantasy Premier League
