Don't think so, mate.  Inter got him from Ajax last Summer.

If your talking about his contract almost being up the dont think soo is right.

But if you mean we cant get him or his not good enough then you are mistaken.

by the way Cisse is better than Drogba

Erm, he signed for Inter in 2003.  His contract won't be up for a good while.

But of course he's good enough, I thought he was excellent for Ajax the year before last.

Taking a risk on young players is fine, but not at 10 mil a pop,,,,(diouf,,i've been calling for his head ever since he got here and got some flak for it,,,,I could see right away that he couldn't cross,,,he runs at defenders and loses the ball,,over and over and over,,,can he not get it into his head that his job is to evade defenders and get the ball to the strikers,,,,is it a difficult concept? ????)

So we need to buy a winger who can cross from the right,,,,Then it makes sense to see how the strikers do (ie; when the have the ball more often).  If we spend 14 mil on Cisse it's a risk,,,,
better to spend 20 mil on a proven right winger than 14 mil on Cisse who is a gamble,,,
However as we have seen it doesn't take 20 mil to get a good winger,,,,,,,
We spent 5mil for Kewell and he has done well.

We need to give young players room to grow,,,,,they should cost 2-3 mil at the most,,,,
The big money should not be spent on them ,,,it's too risky,,,,,,

Apart from a winger,,,,,,,

Hasslebaink would be deadly beside owen and relieve alot of pressure from him...for 5mil,, take him fast!!

The defence looked pretty solid against manure.......

A right winger and Hasslebaink,,,, We'll do well in the champions league,, pray to god we get there,,,,

oh,,, and a new coach,,,,but i've heard that opinion somewhere before........???

It is reassuring to note that Houllier has finally realised what kind of players he needs.

However, as a so-called top coach with a vast knowledge in foorball, I find it amazing that he only realised after 5 years too long and over 100 million wasted on the players he insisted were "potential" and some who will "bring the fans to the edge of their seats".

Just like what Montoya said to Schumacher after the San Marino Grand Prix, you must be "blind or stupid..."

In Houllier's case, after so long and so much money blown away, the same statement can be directed at him. I sense that Stu may say the same to me after this... (don't get too upset, mate. After all, I am entitled to an opinion...)

you just watch him sign Cisse,,,,,,,,,,,,,

is he good?,,great? Possibly but as we have learned from owen it is a team game and requiors a strong unit,,, not individual stars.

Getting Cisse is fine however we also need someone to get him the ball from the right wing.
