Defoe would really fit in well in Rafas system of "team playing". I notice Defore doesnt just start running at goal, but hes alsoa good passer of tha ball and like to creat as well as score. He may well fit in but its gonna take a lot to proze him away from Spurs. Whats his situation at the moment under Jol. is he happy, how many starts has he made this season?

what? defoe's one of the most selfish strikers around which is why he scores so many great individual goals. if you want someone who plays more for the team then you'd be better going for robbie keane although you'd get nowhere near the same product in terms of goals.

Defoe is a superior footballer to Cisse.

Perhaps i worded it wrong. Defore is a technically  better gifted and more aware on the pitch of what is going on. He can see spaces and knows when to go alone or not, where as with Cisse he tends to go it alone even if there is no chance of getting away with it. I also think Defoe if a better finisher.

you took the words out of my mouth JBG   defoe is total world class and he really would fit into rafas style of play perfectly...mido and keane are not in the same world as defoe   :buttrock

He had some problems with his knee.

And trust me if we got Cisse for Defor as a straight swap i would be more than happy but i dont think they would let him go cheap at all.

He hasn't problems with his knee in the last 5 games, because he's come off the bench in the last 20 minutes or so.
