If we get a right winger, and Gonzelaz lives up to his rep than Morientes might have  a part to pay, he thrives on crosses, but Cisse will be great for Lyon, because the French league is :censored:, he has been found out over here.

I don't want Morientes here for 4 years, 18 months of him is enough already, he doesn't seem to have the 'drive' anymore.

"Rumour has it that he will leave Liverpool this summer, destined for a small club in a lesser country or, worse, Tottenham."

:D

Cisse haters.

After today, he has to go. He can't cut it with the big boys and he's just become a drain on the finances. :(

Did anyone see on telly how Rafa shouted at Cisse to track back and defend in the FA cup semi? Likewise, I was screaming and swearing at Cisse couple of minutes before that. We were supposed to defend from the front, closed the Chelski players down and stop them from starting attacks, especially when they pulled a goal back. And what did he do? He was jogging casually and leaving his teammates to do the closing down. What a lazy arrogant idiot! We do not need idiots like him around, juz get rid of him ASAP!!!

Yeah,... but can't we just buy a fast player who can actually play football? ???

Its safe to say that both Cisse and Morientes haven't performed to standards this season. Obviously one has to go, but not Cisse in my opinion.

There are lots of negatives when you talk of Cisse, lack of awareness, laziness, etc but one thing you can't say is that he doesn't score goals. If last night proved one thing is that if you play him he will on most occasions score. I mean he's only 3 goals away from being the clubs top scorer, in all competitions (Cisse - 17, Gerrard - 19). Morientes has probably played better in general than Cisse but Cisse had provided the goods.

Do you want a team player with no goals or less of a team player with more goals?

It may not be an ideal situation but Cisse has to be the better option not to mention the losses incured if we sell him this season.

I can see Cisse staying next season and Morientes going. Morientes on paper should of been good at Liverpool but I think this season has shown him that the Premiership is a hill to high to climb.

As has been said many times, Cisse will probably thrive at a club where he is the first pick striker every week.

He will score goals for you, but his chance to goal ratio is nowhere near what a top class side need.

I didnt see the game last night, and Cisse may have played well but I'm not going to let that cloud my judgement on him. He has found the net on ocassions this season and also has been a bit part player to be fair. But as we all know he lacks composure, class and workrate.
But I would probably agree with SouthCoastShankly that Nando should be first out the door, at least Cisse still chips in with the odd goal now and again.

so what, he scores two goals last night. i still want cisse to go. he's a shoulder shrugging waster, whom half the time doesnt track back, nor does he get into decent position regularly, and when he does - he reads the game wrong and ends up looking a total twat.

ffs, a wheelchair bound blind man could get into better positions than cisse, and do more with the ball.

such as: chip the keeper, instead of a daisycutting power shot, or perhaps, keep it on the ground when you are two yards from an open goal, instead of shkyrocketting it up into row fucking Z.

do i need to say more ?!?!?

I'm by no means happy at Cisses contribution this season, he has been a major let down. But my point is he still is offering more than Morientes. Which I believe is enough of a reason to get rid of Morientes if it came down to selling just one of them. If Benitez wants to get rid of both then we're all happy but between the two Morientes has to go first
