Horrible performance by cisse today....

But the thing is...

1)he ain't no RW.
2)he's a worse LW

Cisse was shocking today, and yes, he isn't a winger, but it was basic fundamental errors that apply to all positions that he was getting wrong. His touch is abominable and he doesn't seem to know how to use his speed. Garcia wasn't much better today, but Cisse was compounding. His Anfield coffin only needs one more nail in it, imho, and then Spurs are welcome to him.

As fed up as I am with Cisse I don't think we can have too much of a go at him. He isn't a winger and has never pretended to be a winger. Rafa continually playing him in this position is doing him no good. I accept that Cisse will probably move on in the summer but I would have liked to have seen him geven more of a chance up front. Afterall his goals per game ratio ain't that bad!!

Isnt it wierd how Cissse career has taken a 180. Last year we were all waiting for him to heal up and we all were so happy when he played against Juve. We had one of the best young strikers in Europe who was begining to flourish in the national team......and now anything he does he recieves critisism for. I really want Cisse to improve under Rafa but it seems apart from his pace he doesnt have much of a game. Im sure once he gts backto France he will be happy.

How can he cant improve when he only played as RW NOT as striker .... but Im very happy because he score more goal ( than mori and PC ) yet played less games as Striker ...

I dont know why I'm bothering replying to your continued stupidity but are you saying we should have sold Cisse in january leaving us extremely thin in attack with only Crouch, Fowler and Morientes as our senior strikers and a serious lack of pace in attack therefore leaving us with limited options?

Or you also not aware that Rafa has bee practically trying to get rid of Cisse all year providing he could get a replacement?

Also Rafa obviously wants whats best for the club so do you think he wouldn't play Cisse regularly if he was good enough even though it was detrimental to the team?

i agree cig. get rafa out. all we need now is mudface to come back and hammer the fact that rafa has ruined cisse's career and the fact that leaving sissoko out yesterday obviously means he's a racist. some of the cr@p on here over the last two weeks has been doing my head in. :angry:

but he does have a point about playing cisse out of position. it does his confidence and the team no good if hes playing out of position.

(im not quite saying rafa out tho lol)
