With the exception of the goal away to Anderlecht which he scored and the goal against Newcastle at St James park name another good quality goal he's played a vital or impressive part in all season.

Someone always has to do something :censored: or stupid for him to score.

i suppose the the goal v everton wasnt a good goal then??

anyway its pretty likely cisse is off but all the tottenham talk is just speculation.  tottenham have already denied any interest!

If he's played every week for Spurs I THINK hel get 20 a season. With him its about playing to his strengths, you cat jusge a player like Djiby without playing him for say 10 straight 90 minutes, all he needs is a manager who believes in him like Guy Roux did. He is probably me favouraite non scouse player, I wattched him from when Robbie left as we were linked with him straight after in the mirror, cant tell you how excited I was. This is the only area in our team whereim dissapointed with Rafa, he never gave Cisse a proper run. :(

I don't understand the Cisse lovers?! Admittedly he isn't the worst striker liverpool have had but regardless of opportunities, one you have to admit there are better players around and two how many chances do we give for him to become a consistent striker and a player who can work WITH the team?

Get rid

I think Cisse should be given a fair chance and used like what it says on the 'tin'

Regarding his actions to the crowd, I think Gallas' was worst. Cisse only celebrated the birth of his child and stuck his tongue out playfully later on.

Gallas on the other hand did a very blatent thumbs down not once but a few times to the fullham home crowd.

If we can get a fair amount for Cisse (ard 8-10m) well... sure sell him but the next striker that comes in better damn well do the job because wherever Cisse goes to, it's gonna bite us back for sure.

Has anyone ever seen Cisse cut inside ?. Whenever he's played wide right he always seems to go outside the full back .I'm wracking my brains and can't recall an instance where he's tried to cut inside the fullback as Garcia often does .
His performances lately have certainly improved but still a long way off what was expected . Until he gets a decent run in his preferred position arguments will continue about his worth .

I wouldn't be terribly sad to see him go, but if he moves to a side like Spurs, it would not shock me in the slightest if he's right up there in the Prem scoring charts next year.

Bottom line is that he will score, but he'll generally need 4 or 5 times the number of chances that an Owen or Henry require to get himself on the goalsheet. If he's playing every week as a team's first choice striker, he'll do a job for them.

I don't suppose we'll ever know how different the Cisse at Liverpool story would have turned out had he been given the backing that Morientes has had. I'm actually quite sorry for the lad about that. Bottom line is that he hasn't come on though, he's far from the class that we need up front, and I'm sure we're all now hoping that a club comes in with an offer that will surprise us.

Realistically, I think £5m would be a result. I just don't see a club coming in with anything more than that, and I think we should brace ourselves for a token Diouf-like amount. It's actually quite scary how similarly those two signings have worked out for us.

I think his instructed to do that.  Difference with him and Garcia is Garcia doesnt have the pace to get to the byeline.  Cisse does so I dont think its odd that he trys to get to the byeline and then cross the ball.

Super Cup

What the hand ball goal that was missed by the referee or the other goal where he kicked the ball at the keeper and he jumped out of the way?

Great finish but again for crying out loud look how got into the position... It was hardly great skill... Weir had a Traore moment which let him in. Not a quality goal. I can name loads of easy chances he's missed and if you actually GO TO THE GAME you'd realise how :censored: and frustrating he actually is. The amount of times he simply fails to spot the easy pass, shits out of goalscoring oppurtunities incase he takes a little knock and the amount of times moves simply break down because of his overall lack of quality.

If you think that lad is good enough for this club, you're deluded. Rafa wants him out for a reason. That reason is crystal clear to all.
