We all know Cisse would have been out of Anfield had he not broke his leg.
But now I feel it is his destiny  :idea , to become a Larsonn-esque figure for Liverpool, and become one of the greatest strikers Liverpool will have ever aquired, justifying his club record breaking fee.

:bowdown  Hail Cisse  :bowdown

Dreams are full of Sh*ite aren't they?

Marseille chairman Pape Diouf is confident a deal can be struck with Liverpool for the signing of Djibril Cisse.

The French giants have spent several months trying to capture Cisse and had appeared to be on the brink of reaching an agreement.

But, when Cisse broke his leg in France's friendly with China earlier this month, the possibility of a transfer this summer appeared to be remote.

L'OM, though, have resurrected the deal as the club are confident the striker will be fit to resume playing in October.

Liverpool are willing to offload Cisse and Diouf travelled to Merseyside on Wednesday with the aim of brokering a transfer.

"Djibril has already given us his agreement," Diouf told L'Equipe. "He should resume in October.

"I hope we will find the right solution with the Liverpool officials, both for us and for the player, whom the coach has already given a slip to leave."

Just seen Cisse on SSN walking normal into Melwood  ??? , probably collecting his things and saying his final goodbyes, I must admit Im sad to see him leave if Im honest  :( .
Think he's had a really sh1tty time since coming here with 2 broken legs and Rafa not liking him.
More sorry to see him leave than Morientes I didnt feel a thing when he left.

Oh well good luck Djibs.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Cisse wore his heart on his sleeve and did try his best.  Sadly it wasn't enough.   But he did win the European cup and FA cup with us, so i'm sure he'll have nothing but great memories of his time at Liverpool.

Good luck Djibs....get well soon and back on form so we can get some money back on you!  :D
