Is he the guy with the thick lips who scored that cracking free kick against Al-Itthiad?

Yes thats him. Im not saying hes gonna be another Garcia ort Alonso but he could also be a nunex but the point is im sure Rafa is willing to wastle £500,000 rather than a few million like Houllier would do.

Defo worth giving him a trial as I think he has a lot of talent, and already plays for the Costa Rican national team so we should see him at the World Cup.

I've been wanting to say the same thing earlier but I don't know the guy's name. He's definitley stood out during the game and he's got the character. Bring him in!!

Was he the player who shot wide when he was running between Carra and Hyppia, with only Reina to beat?

I vaguely remembered a player and I think it was him who made 2 good efforts, one a run and pass to a team-mate who squandered the chance and the other his own effort, which was quite close. Both in the first half. This player looked quite useful. The guy who scored against Al-Itthiad, the one with the thick lips, also played a lively match against Al-Itthiad, albeit after being subdued in the first half - but if I'm not mistaken, this player is left-footed.

Could be a bargin if he turns out to be good. £500,000. He looked really good in the 1/4 and in the 3rd place play off. How can he be so cheap ?

Because he plays for Deportivo Saprissa, a Costa Rican teamn. Thats why, most clubs don't bother to look in such places for talented players.
