Rafa's change wasn't a bad one but the timing was a little off. It's no secret Torres isn't the best penalty taker and Babel has a better record with them. I think thats the reason why the sub was made. I don't think Rafa's to blame. There was logic in all of his decisions and again we lost on luck. Hyypia deserved a what looked like a StoneWaller and Skrtl who in the early signs looked to have the beating of Drogba suffered an injury. No one's to blame in my opinion. Well done lads for providing an entertaining season and for shrugging away the of field antics when on the pitch. Football's a cruel game, we spend all year watching the team and for that it gets disregarded within one night. Thats football though, and i guess it's why we love it.

I'm confident that with a few good signing's we can have a better push next seaon, looking forward to the pre-seaon and hope we dont suffer any injuries when the lads are out with there national sides. It's not the end of the world, after all we support the best team in the world!

Thanks for another season lads!

top post dude :)

so who u think is out there to buy to counter the players from manure and scumsea ??

You're struggling to find the right words arent you mate?

I was a 'bit disappointed' when I dropped a Cadbury's Cream Egg on the floor when I was a child. I would not compare that with Liverpool losing in semi-final of the Champions League to a bunch of overpaid and arrogant Chavski w@nkers. Get my drift?

You're not Tom Hicks are you?

oh dear thats the fist thing to make me laugh for hours

Anyway, I partly agree. Riise had a shocker in both legs, and ultimately his error's cost us. Their away goal (or his own goal) changed the entire dynamic of the second leg. We'd have gone trough but for that.

There really is no consolation this time.We got beat, aye. But as a spectacle for a final, I really don't have any preference as to who I want to see win it. It's an awful, awful scenario. The worst possible. Baring that some kind of natural disaster happens, or the sky turns red and the end of days comes that is said in the book of Revelations, otherwise I can't help but feel sick to my stomach that one of these two c*nt of a teams will end up winning the big one. I'll only watch that final if someone puts a gun to my head. If that does happen, and I have to pick a side to cheer on to beat one of my two least favorite teams on the planet, then I'll have to switch my brain and and conclude that for purely footballing reasons, I'd want the Mancs to win. But then again, I hate the c*nts more than Chelsea so I'd want them to win. I guess my captor would have to let that hammer fall.

Haha. I see your point. But one thing I overlooked when obsessing over the game was that Chelsea would score just as fast as we could. I was focusing on the idea that we would break that 4 year habit of not scoring rather than containing Drogba.

It's a hard one. I'd need a serious boot in the bollox first before deciding.

I seriously cannot wait until the final whistle has gone once and for all this season. I want it to be over so fast right now, although I'm not looking forward to the summer either. We need 3 stunning players (and I emphasize stunning quality) to come in and take us forward.

But dont forget good players dont have to make a great team.

Barcelona have better players then ManU, but ManU just have a better team collective.

Liverpool as a team is very strong. But some players are getting too old. A defensive quality injection is needed imho.
