Well done boys, great fight all season, all importantly on the back of dodgy boardroom wranglings. Can't blame anyone.

Good onya lads.

We did what no one else thought we could do and got our goals at Stamford Bridge.

But our own mistakes have cost us.

The own goal at Anfield. Giving away a pen tonight. Stopping and expecting an offside call.

We knocked ourselves out.

Sickening to think that Chavsea and Manure will be in the final. It's a shame they both can't lose.

But I'd prefer Chelsea to win rather than Manure.

Good effort by the boys unfortunately too many times our midfield were chasing shadows, they looked more composed and hate to say it but deserved it in the the end, they did the simple things right, which was to pass the ball. I can only hope torres picked up an injury if not there will be some big questions for rafa.

Today Chelsea was the better team. But in the first game we were much better. Considering the own goal, the conceded penalty to them, the not conceded one to Hyypia, we cannot say we had the luck in our side.

However, we conceded goals today, because we didn't do a good game. Alonso and Mascherano bossed the first game, they haven't done so today. No need of scapegoats anyway. I doubt the man that brought Torres would sit down him without a reason --like him being exhausted-- so I'll wait to what Rafa says about it.

I'm gutted.  I thought at 1-1 we was gonna win as chelsea looked beaten.  I'm disappointed with some of the selections and decisions in this game.  I dont see why pennant can come on for benayoun.  Pennant did nothing again as usual v a good side.
The pen was a bad mistake.  Poor touch by Hyppia.  The torres sub is bizarre.  Why wasnt kuyt taken off as kuyt was rubbish.

cheaters..........

proud of the lads put up a good show..... :)

I dont agree with the starting line up as crouch definitely needed to be on the pitch

and i dont think rise should have been on but its done and dusted now...

they had to cheat to finally beat us with ref not awarding big sami a penalty in extra time

and they had luck with the own goal last week and we needed some luck bad but didnt get it

now that its come and gone maybe the lads can get a good rest and we can get some quality signings for next season to make a real go for the league....

Too many players didn't turn up tonight. Pennant when he came on was pathetic. Kuyt did nothing, Alonso and Mascher never got to grips in midfield. Benny apart from the run for Torres goal was poor. Not many had good games for us, Carra probably the pick of the bunch.

Rafa got his subs wrong - should have been Crouch or Babel not Pennant and why take Torres off ?
