How is it reasonable that after leading 2 up at half time and you MUST score another and it's not as all the players are having their game of their lifes you don't change a thing?

F*ck it let's take the premiership.

football doesnt work like that mate, you have to take control in midfield before you can score goals or you just end up playing 70yard hit n hopes for 90mins. Rafa got this spot on, though I think Mascherano being back in the side contributed greatly in this and as we dominated position we created chances and scored 2 goals in a very lopsided 1st half. I understand where you are coming in thinking Babel would have been a better offensive option but the truth is the guy has been medicore all season, where Benny has been 1 of our best performers in the last 2 months.

Don't get me wrong i didn't want Babel in but for sure not Skertel and Lucas - Agger And Reira were a must for this game.

I understand the need to control the midfield but we came into this game with a must score 3 goals situation - we needed to mix things up - we scored and lead not becuase we controled the midfield we lead because this game called football is crazy and amazing - from this point we (Rafa) should have done better.

if i was to choose an offensive centre half for liverpool its hypia, more dangerous from set pieces than any of our other defenders but i cant really se how Agger could make a difference away from home where he cant take the chance to break forward the way he would in a home game against a lesser side. I do think he has more of a goal threat than Skrtel but I think Rafa felt the Slovak would deal with Drogba better than Danny would, which I cant really answer because theyve both been givin a tough time by the ballbag in the past

I can't believe his teamates let him get away with that. And with English players like Terry, Lampard and Cole too. It's so bad to him acting like that.

Can't stand Drogba.  He's one of those guys I'll bet goes through life believing that he's owed something.  You know the type, they always have that 'hard done by' look on their face.

For someone that puts himself about like he does on the pitch, his diving is embarrassing.

He needs sorting out.  More defenders should properly go through the back of him.  He'll get them carded anyway, you might as well actually hurt him at the same time.

Unfortunately we have another 10 years of Ronaldo conning referees to look forward to.

On the bright side Drogba's just about finished.  Maybe one good season left in him if he avoids serious injury.

Forgot about Robben.  He's worse than Drogba and Ronaldo put together, we just don't see him as often now.  What a cheating diving cu.nt though

Anyway, getting a bit off topic now.

Whatever you think about Drogba's personality though, he's an awesome player.  The type of player I thought we'd signed all those years ago in Heskey... except Drogba has aggression and can actually finish.  I scoffed big time when Mourinho spent 24 million on him, but I think he has been worth it for them.

A fantastic game! When, around the Europe, anyone talks about great and emotion games, Liverpool Football Club appears in his minds. I´m proud.
Moral victory however, let`s turn our attention to Premier League.

Chelsea's fake flags, fake fans. Clive Tilsley summed it up perfectly, something along the lines of " Chelsea put flags on the seats for there fans tonight, Liverpool dont need them, they bring there own." Fabulous. Seriously i dont feel hardly a sense of bitterness, becasue this clubs made me more proud than i thought was possible tonight.

I mentioned that a few pages back, he said "The club put out free flags for the fans to show their support" then the camera panned onto the liverpool fans and he said " they dont need them, they bring there own atmosphere"

ok need a buttrock....... :buttrock

was a great comment from Tylesdale - his one about drogba was good as well

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

These are a part of the game ... We should have one too for next season .. Maybe Rafa should buy Ashley Young .. he's english and he also can "dived" ... I don't care if they call us cheat as long we win every game ..

I wont single out Drogba as the main diver, I would blame the whole cheating mentality on the whole squad that chelsea have. Tonight all of them were at it, Lampard especially, as shameless as drogba. What they cant match in skill they they overwhelm in foul play. Like I said earlier, let them try it against barcelona, they will be out "dived". As proud as I am of the red men, im getting pretty sick of being cheated against. Chelsea have spent a fortune on world class players and still, to this day have to resort to cheating and conning the ref to get results. They must be so proud at that club.
Bill Shankly: “I was the best manager in Britain because I was never devious or cheated anyone. I’d break my wife’s legs if I played against her, but I’d never cheat her.”

Drogba did what he usually does against us ................score ???

There's no doubt he's a quality player but he is such a diver and for a big guy goes down quicker than a Bangkok ladyboy ! :p
