Umm torres was injured and was taken off as a precaution - and masher is a defensive minded player and was replaced by an attack minded player ? he then took of a right back to be replaced by another attacking player ?? how is that not going for it ?

People here are blaming the Ref blaming the keeper blaming the flopper - those are all acceptable during a game - i'm talking about decisions by our coach which he took before the game and during the half time - his approach was wrong he prooved me right when he took Torres out and Took Mas out - he didn't believe - our lads did - they did their best he didn't.

he gave us a pen very few would of and generally had a great game

the players did the club proud. I think rafa gave up (as had I really) when he took off torres but they kept going. even when lampard scored his last minute goal, we came back and only a great essien header of the line stopped us scoring.

The post match analysis will go on into the night and beyond I'm sure but all I want to say is how very very proud I am of the lads tonight.

There's not a team on the planet who would have got so close as we did tonight. 2-0 up after 28mins and 4-3 up with minutes to go. Chavski didn't have a SHOT on goal first half and had to rely on a freakie goal to get back into the game early in the 2nd.

The only puzzling thing for me was the withdrawl of Masca when he perhaps should have taken Lucas off but we're all world class managers watching the game aren't we !

Fans and comnmentators say we are a 2 man team but tonight we gave Chavski  the fright of their lives with no Gerrard and a quiet Torres. We scored 4 goals despite a referee who fell for Drogba's semantics all night !

Finally...... If Fat Frank kisses his badge and points to the sky once more I'm going to explode, he can kiss my A***

I actually don't think Reina was to blame for their first goal. When I saw it for the first time I didn't realise Drogba got a touch and I thought Pepe just spilled it into his own net. When I saw the replays I realised Drogba got a touch - it was actually superb play from Drogba to reach it and divert it into the left hand corner of Pepe's goal. I need to see it again but I don't Reina had any time to react to the change of direction of the ball.

I don't think you can BLAME the ref for why we didn't go through but I think that Chelsea did get the advantage on a LOT of little things and the amount of time added on was way short of what it should have been
