So do most of us and is it too much to ask to see Kewell play as well  ???

My choice in midfield for Staurday would be....

Hamann and Alonso in the middle (Stevie's injured) , Finnon on the right and Rise on the left.

Longer term I'd like to see Nunez impress so much he makes the right side his own and Kewell to find some form and play like we all know he can .....

Why place Riise in the midfield, he was pathetic today. I don't want to see Finnan in the midfield either.

Spot on Kenco and if you look back I posted a similar post.

Losing Gerard didn't make us play worse, it would have been hard to do cos we were poor (very poor) first half. Rallied a little second half and could have snatched a draw but the best side won......

P.S. how many Away stubs have you got cos i couldn't get a  ticket :( I only have 6 Aways from last season

Rise was outnumbered 2 to 1 on almost every occasion due to Kewell's reluctance to track back...

Finnon has been one of the best players over the last few games and deserves his place....

Long term Finnon may not figure as Nunez hopefuuly stakes his claim and Warnock matures but at this moment in time Finnon is worth his place

Have you all been wachting a different game to me? we where beaten by a far better side than us, end of story!  we did'nt have a shot at goal in the first half, and when stevie g went of we seemed to play much better. He just did'nt seem to be intrested. We have got to stop thinking one man can get us a result from every game. they were far better than us tonight, my heart bleeds to say that. But thats the kind of level we have to acheive.it even took us to the second half to get a corner, and i can't remember us having a shoot at goal in the first half. { so get real and get a life]    :( :(

END OF STORY? WHAT A DEFEATEST FANNY YOU ARE!

4 out of 5 games played at Trafford we have won by 1-0, goalscorer Danny Murphy in every game.

start giving mellor a run out as sub we have so many games coming up.

Sorry Lynds but I really don't rate Mellor, he misses so many chances and we need someone who has a decent strike rate, plus he's over weight  :D

Did you see Finnan kickin off on the linesman, lol.

:D So put him on a diet, I mean get him fit to play against the likes of norwich, pompey, ect.
Cause if we go far in CL, FA, ect. We are going to need some fresh legs otherwise our players will be knackerd.
No harm bringin Mellor, Potter,Whitbread on as subs with 15 mins to go against the likes of WBA and that.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Come on guys.... You can't blame the ref.  We where 2nd best in every department last night.  They wanted it more than us, simple as.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

It was defo' welcome to the Premiership for a couple of our lads and probably the manager too. The intensity of occasions like last night is unique to this country and the likes of Garcia, Cisse etc will be better for the experience.3
We didn't get out of the blocks at all and once we were under the cosh in the 1st half, they were never going to let us off the ropes. In the second half I felt we were the better side, with Alonso orchestrating everything, ably helped out by Didi who was excellent. On balance of play and chances though, they deserved it. It was a massive night for them, they desperately needed a result and it showed. The referee was a homer in the extreme but did we expect any different? I know i didn't.
The two really negative notes for me were the performance of Kewell who's confidence looks shot and of Cisse, who didn't put it in enough for my liking. Too early for me to say if he's a classic Houllier signing or not but a bit of passion and desire while we all make our minds up wouldn't go amiss.

Ola it doesnt matter if manure played better (according to opta), its the fact that two bad decisions in the game led to two goals. Thats the issue, theyve had the run against bolton and blackburn in recent weeks, and furthermore i was there last night and couldnt believe it when i saw graham poll as the ref, what a winker he is. I think collina should have been brought over to ref this one, then perhaps the decisions would have a bit more thought out. But unfortunately he's italian and not employed by the FA.
anyway, my point is that the decisions were poor and it cost LFC dear, thats it.

I don't want to point fingers but once again Kewell did nothing but give the ball away, I just really wish he's show us a 5 star performance and soon!

I just don't know what to say apart from I'm gutted :(

I have to say Paul, I have to disagree on one point there, I think we played better when Didi replaced Stevie. Now I am not saying one is better then the other, but the Hollywood passes were in evidence again last night from Stevie G, and when Alonso took his role and Didi played the holding roll, we looked a different proposition.

Also did you go the Monace game, cus Harrry did turn in an excellent display there.
