squad numbers haven't been confirmed yet, but Charlie Adam said on twitter that he gets number 26

Welcome, I think he's gonna be a boss signing. Very cheap price if its right, 7.5m is a bargain.

Am chuffed to bits he's finally signed and he certainly brings a few things to the table that the rest of our centre-middies do not have. He's got the guts and graft that are a must for a centre-mid in the Premier League (fans of Albert Aquilani please note) but he also has the skill and craft we were ofte lacking the last couple of seasons. Am really surprised Sputrs didn't come in and make it a battle for his signature as that would have put the price up so all in all it looks like a really good piece of business.
