I will not blindly follow anything and you know why? I got eyes and a brain and I like to use them. And don't pigeonhole me into two choices - I hate it when people do that. I support Liverpool, not Hitler Youth 1939.

The one thing that impresses me about Liverpool fans (apart from the loyalty) is that we know a thing about football. We know when something is crapola and we won't stand for it. Maybe you do. I certainly don't.

I ask you this: where's the cut off point? If Rafa stays and we sink further into the quagmire - don't make champions league next season, mid-table mediocrity, relegation? (I'm just playing Devil's Advocate here) - are you going to sit there and support him? Are you going to give him a pat on the back and say 'well done?' I think not.

There's an outside chance that Rafa can turn this around and get us back on a winning trail and, if he stays, might win the league one day - but I promise you this: it won't be pretty football we'll be watching. It'll be scrappy, 1-0 wins with a handful of shots on goal.

I don't want Rafa as manager of my team. By the looks it (3 1/2 seasons in) he doesnt really care about good football. He just wants results.
That might do for a lot of people and I can understand why. Me? I want both - attractive football and results.

I don't post on this forum very often, is it any wonder why when i read seven pages of vitriol and spite between fellow forum members.

These last seven pages are getting us absolutely nowhere, neither is the backbiting or blamemongering, i joined this forum long before Rafa arrived, I was very veciforous in my condemnation of Houlliers tenure as Manager, but in those days the Forum debated,each member held his or her own view, those view's where either accepted or debated upon, it never ever decended in to what this topic has become,

Lando, I was pleased today to read JBG's topic, whether i agree or disagree is my own business, if i feel i have to comment i will, I won't however feel as though i can't for fear of insult or written retribution because i do or do not agree with his point of view.

By the way if you want to look up Forum it means....... a designated space for public expression,

I've said my piece, i've no axe to grind with anyone, my point of view on the topic itself is as the first reply, a well written, passionate piece, people disagreed with the opinion of the author then we degenerated into this........... sorry NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THIS FORUM.
