Change one result from this season

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Dundalk » Wed Apr 07, 2010 4:53 pm

Seen this elsewhere, thought it would be worth a discussion on here, so what would it be? Chelsea or United away? Better results in the Champions League? Villa at home or Spurs away at the start of the season?

Maybe even pre season results to boost our confidence going into the season.

If you could change one result from this season what would it be?

First game of the season v Tottenham.

Would have started the season off with a bit of confidence and that has been our main downfall this season. We havent had any confidence since day one. Only recently we are starting to look a bit more confident again.

I suppose I would go for either Spurs first game of the season, or maybe Villa the 3rd game. A better start MIGHT have just kickstarted our season.

well who knows how the season could have panned out. I would have preferred to be in the CL to be honest - not being in it passed the group stages reminds me of how much I love it. So stuff Fiorentina in their own backyard would be my choice, purely to keep us in the CL

But I do love beating the scum  :D

I am always positive mate..... positive that we need a new manager anyway.

Just because you believe in the tooth fairy doesn't mean that those of us who have doubts are negative. I  believe we have a good team that is underperforming..... something you seem to fail to either acknowledge or believe yourself.

So either come up with an argument or just shhh, rather than crying because someone has just told you that Father Christmas isn't real.

The Mancs at Old Trafford ,seriously deflated our confidence I think a win would have injected some pride and inspired us to go the rest of the season unbeaten ,although I do believe with the season being interspersed with inconsistencies that no result we reversed would provide a marked improvement ..
