Interesting he has got Anderson on the bench, maybe he will look to unleash him if things start going wrong.

We have got to do this! Come on boys, Come on Rafa, Come on the KOP!

Very interesting. Hyypia only fit enough for the bench, No Riise in the squad? Troare at centre back and Warnock at left back. Morientes back in the team and Fowler dropped to the bench. Barragan makes the bench, and surprisingly Anderson joins him!

                    Reina

Finnan  Carragher  Traore  Warnock

Garcia    Alonso   Gerrard   Kewell

            Crouch   Morientes

Subs

Cisse
Fowler
Anderson
Hamann
Hyypia
Barragan
Dudek

What a night for Morientes to do something worthwhile, and Anderson coming off the bench could be really interesting, an unknown quantity with pace and dribbling ability. I’m very excited now!

Sky only, I'm afraid.

And unfortunately, here in Bedfordshire it's f*cking tricky to find a pub that isn't showing Arsenal v Real

I'm not too disappointed that Robbie's on the bench - if it's a quiet first half, Morientes can come off second half and Fowler can go at them all guns blazing. Definitely a better option to have him on the bench than the other way round, if you see what I mean.

Big, big game for Garcia. Hopefully being at home will bring out the best in him. Will be very interested to see if Rafa goes for Anderson on the right if Luis has a 'mare though. Huge game for a young lad to get his debut. :)

I'd like to think it's mainly going to be one way traffic with Benfica sitting back, but all the same Traore needs to have one of his big games. I don't want to be talking about the game tomorrow talking about a Djimi howler costing us the game.

To be honest if he comes on and i hope its because we are home and dry and not still chasing goals with ten minutes to go...Saying that though what a night to show your talents to the fans......

I'm a little worried about Traore, Mori, and Warnock. Traore I just don't trust! Mori is slow and can't score, and Warnock is not as good as Riise. I :censored: hope I eat my words after this game if Mori does do something good but I don't think he will. We need pace up front. Ciise/Fowler, Ciise Crouch would be great for this game. COME ON ROBBIE! COME ON REDS!
