I'm genuinely worried about tonights game. Infact, I'd say I am almost as nervous as I was preceding the Final last season.

I know we are the better side, and I know Rafa is a genius. I just can't get over the nerves.

All it will take is for our strikers to continue their drought, and it'll be bye-bye CL.

Come on lads - you can do it! Do it for us fans. Do it for yourselves. Do it for everyone connected with the club - Rafa, David Moores, Rick Parry, etc.
We don't deserve to exit the competition so early. We are the holders, and we need to show just WHY we won it.
Let's batter them tonight. Really annihilate them. Send out a message to the rest of the World that we ARE the Champions. That we DID deserve to win it in such amazing style.

And to the fans who can be there: Show the World just what we are made of. Stand up and sing your hearts out. Get behind the lads and demand a performance from them.
Even those of you who will be there, but aren't regulars - try and make some noise. Everyone knows "YNWA", "We are the champions...", etc. Play your part. Scare the Benfica players. Make them make mistakes. Put pressure on them, lay into them, cheer their every mishap.

Sami Hyypia is winning his fight to be fit for Liverpool's Champions League showdown with Benfica at Anfield.

The big defender damaged a hamstring in the goalless draw with Charlton on Saturday and needed a scan as a precaution - but he was passed fit to train on Tuesday and will have a late fitness test before Wednesday's match against the Portuguese club.

Liverpool will bring back into the starting line-up the players rested against Charlton, with Steve Finnan, John Arne Riise, Xabi Alonso, Fernando Morientes and Luis Garcia all in contention. Jan Kromkamp and Daniel Agger are cup tied.

That sounds encouraging. I believe Barragan is in the squad also.

Real worried  about this one as well, i seem to get more nervy against teams like this then against bigger teams.

i just think he was brought back for sentimental reasons

he hasn't really done it this time has he? his career kinda died when he left first time

i was always more of an owen girl, at least he's still scoring (when he's not injured)
