Sorry , forgot to point out, top part (3rd round draw) we are in the list of teams on left, and can only be drawn against teams on right (unseeded teams).

Group stage.

we are in pot 1 with the top seeds, we get drawn Versus one team from 2nd pot, one team from 3rd pot, one team from 4th pot etc. Its the same for all other teams in pot 1.

Eight groups of four teams will be the result.
Only there are some silly stipulations, ie; teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other (like rangers and celtic) except LFC!
A computer works it all out.
We could get rangers or celtic tho! PSV, Monaco!

i think thats pretty easy to understand if youve got half a brain.

at least we cant draw a lot of the better teams in the group stages so it will give us a better chance. i would rather be focusing on the prem this season though

I had a good look at it.

As far as I can tell, it all means that we are going to get through these qualifying matches, get through the group stages, then knock everyone out and win the European Cup for a SIXTH time.

What were the chances of getting TNS? I think that they were even bigger odds, right? I'd rather meet Everton in the Groups to prolong the false hope, but I wouldn't mind seeing them drawn against Inter. It would be like hiring a big Italian Goon to take care of the dirty work.

I presume that they can't draw the Bucaneers, which is a shame as that would definatley get rid of one of them. But let's all remember, we have to beat Kaunas first. Let's not get too big for our boots.
