so what? israel won't bomb cyprus? and the lebanese refugees won't bomb cyprus because they are only citizens trying to stay in cyprus in order to go to another country. Cyprus is perfectly safe.

What you have ask yourself is...how do the Israeli team feel about playing there amongst all those Lebanese?

The day before the draw UEFA said that at the moment the game will be IN Israel, but until the game everything can happen...
And about Cyprus, I don't think it's the best idea, if Lebanese people or Israeli people will see each other (which probebly will happen), someone, Israeli or Lebanese, will say the wrong word and a fight will start between the 2 sides...
I believe and hope that the game will be played in Israel and untill the game the war will end or cool down...
