That is the top and bottom of it. We will end up playing away to MH in Cyprus.

If so, lets play the first leg also in Cyprus....
we are afraid to come to Anfield....

I don't really see any reason why you will host in your own home, and we will need to host in another country (you know, even the stadium in Ramat-Gan isn't our home field...)

If the second leg will not take place in Israel, the first led shouldn't take place in England.

Aye, all them missiles flying into anfield every day must make it seem very dangerous for you

We might as well play both legs on neutral grounds then ???

True, we are in the middle of a war in the north.
True, missles aren't flying into Anfield every day....

But....
Tel-Aviv area isn't dangerous right now, and the chance that a missle will hit Tel-Aviv is the same as a terror attack will be in Liverpool.

and this is football. sports. i don't care that Israel is more dangerous than England.
i want the same conditions.
We will not host at home? so should you.

I have been a Liverpool fan for about 25 years.
I am also a Maccabi Tel Aviv fan - so you might guess that I hate the green monkeys from Haifa.

But I got to tell you that some of the things that LFC fans are writing here make me sick!

Most of you don't have a clue about what is going in Israel or why, but still you write as if you are experts to this complexed area.

Just to let you know - the sh.it that some of you say is just like saying that England are terrorists for bombing Germany during WW2. How many people did you kill there ?

Hizbullah is a terror organization. Most of worlds leaders knows it. Have you heard Tony Blair today? did you hear Bush? Thay all know that at the moment Israel is standing at the front of fight against world terror.

It makes me sick that the fans of the team that I love for 25 years can't see thr truth and writh all this sh.it here.

If UEFA decides that the game will be held here (which I hope will happen) Liverpool will come and play. To even think that Liverpool will act like the "stamford bridge six" and will try to avoid comming is bulsh.it

I have been in Istanbul. I have been in Anfield. United fans trew glasses of beer at me in Old Traford when they saw my red shirt.

But if Liverpool will refuse to come - I am no longer a fan.
It is not easy for me to say it - but this how I feel.
I always thought that "youll never walk alone" means something. I still hope it does.

I live in Jerusalem, and the only missles i see is on TV, becuase here everything is quiet.

United? we sure are united as a nation. 99.9% of the Israelis wants to :censored: Lebanon, but that's not the issue.

the team name is Maccabi Haifa, so as you guess, most of the fans are from Haifa. but most of them aren't escaped. they stayed, they are brave, and they want Liverpool to come here.

i saw the English fans in the WC. i saw the songs. the pics. the whole WW2 thing.
but i see that you aren't so brave as i thought.

Hello Liverpool fans!
I'm Alon from Israel. Although i'm not a Maccabi Haifa's fan (I like another from the second league, and actually I like basketball more than football) I would like that you, the great fans in the world, will come to Israel.
I'm a Liverpool fan and I am one of thousands of Liverpool fans that you can find in Israel.

From the pictures on the television I understand your fears, but you need to realise that the War is not happen in Israeli soil like the things are in Lebanon.

Suicide bombing from the Palestinian side are non exictent for the past 2 years because of Israeli withdraw from the Gaza strip, and because of the Defence Wall in the west bank (that some people considered as a bad thing and I can understand that)
so put that option aside. The chance this days to get hurt from a terror attack in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem are similar to get hurt in Liverpool or London.

The israeli cities that are being attacked is in the north of Israel, a 200-300 km from Tel Aviv, where the game is going to be played.
About the missiles. The Hezbolla doesn't really know where they gonna hit, they just set the missiles to hit certain cities, and to Tel Aviv, in their technology can't even get close.

Some people here said that Liverpool and their fans are going to be a target from the moment they will land in Israel. I can gaurentee you that the security will be state of the art, like any great and small venue that happens here.

Please come to the Holyland and make me and the thousends of Liverpool fans here a dream come true and cheering with the great fans of the great team, The Mighty Reds.

I'm looking forward to see myself drink a bottle of beer with you
Don't let terror and stupid governments ruin the one thing that united all of the people around the world, Sport.

Alon from Israel

Hezbollah is a resitance and political  movement.  You zionists occupied Lebanon and Hezbollah drove u out before yet u choose to fight the mujahaideen again.  Your illegal zionist state was built on terror and has no right to exist!!!!

I know, and i accept it.
but this whole thread, the Israelis guys are trying to show you that you will not put your life in danger if you will come.

I don't know what the Sky are broadcasting from here, but i can assure you that the real situation isn't what you are watching on TV.
