Hello. I'm from Haifa. I'm sory but my English not so good.
In the last days the number of the bombs down, 3 days without bombs in Haifa, IDF winning in this war, thay do everything that Israel will be a safe place. in the last 2 week Hizbolah attacked us every day, but IDF stop them, Haifa is a quiet place now and don't talk about Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is the safest city in Israel and I think the safest city in the Middle East. We are not afraid from Hizbolah and Hamas, they are group of stupid people and they will lose this war.We belive the war wiil stop in few days, and the game will be in 22/23 in August, you don't need to afraid. Lets get football win the teror, we will not give him win, just in this way we can win them, to them that we are not afraid from them.

I'm Liverpool fan since ever, my dream allways was to see Maccabi Haifa vs. Liverpool, now it can be possible, if we will not give teror win

Sorry mate, but you're gonna have to wait some other time for us to play in Israel. Don't get your hopes up of us playing there now.

you need to understand that it's not fair that you get to play at home and we dont. tel aviv isnt in bombing range and has patriots[anti missile missile] near by.
there is no danger at tel aviv expect suicide bombing, that can happen in liverpool to [it already happend in england]
i know that what you see on sky, bbc, abc, nbc, cnn atc. is that israel is a country at war and that all day long we sit in shellters. well life is normal in tel aviv and all cities southern from haifa. there is no danger in tel aviv and tel aviv is not at war.

I'm sorry to hear that mate, I know the bombings aren't in Haifa itself but their is anyway a threat that if a big profile game is being played in Haifa that terorists my target it to get a point across, Rafa will not let this happen because it's not just the players/staff at risk but the fans as well, can you imagine if Uefa turn Liverpools request down and something bad happens!!!  :(

Look, you and the other Israeli's here seem to misunderstanding what we're trying to say.

We're all aware that Tel-Aviv hasn't been bombed, but what we're saying is that NO RISKS should be taken. Going to Israel is a risk.

Nothing may happen in Tel-Aviv, but the players will never be able to prepare properly without worrying for their safety. Us going to Israel would attract too much attention and we can't have that.

I know it's unfair if this is played on neutral ground which it will be, but that's the way it is.

UEFA aren't daft, they won't take that risk. Even if they did, we wouldn't go. A couple of years ago Chelsea were drawn against an Israeli team and all of the senior players refused to go.

In anyway, we still have more than a month till the game ...
I guess that UEFA will decide in 2 weeks, or so. So all the talks about where will the game be played are just  :bump  at this moment ..

There is no danger playing at israel.
With all that security, i would say it's even safer than anywhere else. The real situation is not as it seems from watching the news.
However. i can't blame liverpool for not wanting play in israel. if i lived somewhere else
and see what they see at the news, i would be scared coming as well.

Too many problems, even if you are going to buffer up security it cause too much comotion, yeah its not fair but that life and we will look after our best own intrested first just like you will.

We will not be coming to Israel for this game, hopefully the middle east will have more stable future sometime and we can come visit then, but it wont happen this time.

You can "talk the talk".....but we wont "walk the walk" sorry but there is no way any sane..(or unsane) player would feel safe playing in Israel...bloody hell even the travel agents cant give away free holidays in Israel at the moment!! :no

I can understand your fears friend. I know it looks bad on SKY or BBC, and I guess that you have never been here ...

I live in Tel Aviv, and I KNOW it is safe here. I guess that the UEFA guys will come here also, and see the same.

Last month it was safa enough for Roger Waters to be here (some 50,000 people saw him ...). Sting was also here last month.
It was safe for France, Ireland and all other teams to come last year. Nobody said that Ajax or Juventus are a "target" for terror... they all came and played here ...

It was safe for all top European basketball teams to come to Tel Aviv to play Maccabi Tel Aviv. All those teams will come again this year - just wait and see.

I know that at this moment you all think/hope that the game will be played anywhere but in Israel. Most of you just say "it will not be played in Israel - end of story" ....
But I can guarantee that the game WILL be played here. Just wait and see ...

I know what you feel. But as someone who lives in Tel Aviv I can tell you, Don't count on the game beeing played anywhere but in Israel.

Oh, and for those of you that will come - you will have the time of your life  :D

Go Liverpool !
