Not before time Carra, best centre half in England for the last three to four years and yet still overlooked. People argue that Carra and Terry can't play in the same side because they're too alike but that's . Carra is a better defender than Ferdiand or Terry yet both get picked ahead of him for england, something seriously wrong there. Ledley King, Jonathon Woodgate and Micah Richards have been put ahead of Carra, well I think Carra should of retired from international duty along time ago.

It annoys me how Liverpool players are treated with regards to the england set up, and it is all down to the manager, glenn hoddle always picked tottenham players (Darren "sicknote" Anderton was always injured but come an international BANG fit as a fiddle !), same with terry venables before him, sven came and picked the biggest names in the papers, why not? if he didnt hed get slaughtered by the london clubs supporters and the press based there, and now mcclaren, ex-utd, so ferdinand will always get picked. One day we will get a manager that will look at what we have, see through the headlines and pick the players that WANT to play for england rather than those that want to see there name in lights.

Top top person carragher is, I don't think other england players who gets criticised on the radio would do what carragher did. He has the right to defend himself, and he defended superbly! Durham got what he deserves.
