Carragher quits england - To make lfc the best in the land

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

With Terry being captain, and being the equal of Carra in all departments, Teddy boy will want the 2nd CB to have pace and power which is all Rio and even Ledley have over Carra, so he will be shunted round to cover injuries and suspensions. He's got his pride, so if he wants to quit, good decision, better for the club.

That was quality Durham is a muppet , he did the same thing with Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand phoned up and had him stuttering ha ,ha .

They are going to play the Carragher phone call in a bit, they just played some of it and they are going to play more, Durham didnt know what to say.

They said earlier that Carragher cant retire and if Mclaren calls him up and he doesn't play, then its like the Makalele situation and he will be banned for a premiership game if he refuses, is this ture ?

anyone listen to talksport earlier today at all, Adrian Durham calling carra a bottler and slating him for ages....

Well carra phoned up and told him to pop down to Melwood and say it to his face :D

On the 9th of July 2007 Liverpool star Jamie Carragher announced he was to retire from international football.During the hand over with H&J at 4 o'clock,Durham labelled Carragher a bottler and continued to make this accusation for the next 20 minutes or so until an enraged Carragher rang up the show and challenged Durham to "come to Melwood or Anfield on a match day and say that to my face".

Edit : ok missed the post a few up, apologies, lovely to see how quickly it got to wikipedia though :D

anyone know if you can listen to this again?

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.
