Dunno much about how people go for this cup, could go any way. all nice games tho, an exciting cup for a chnage

just saw this draw and as soon as chelsea came out i knew it was gona b against us -.-
i would rather it at anfield but hey its only the carling cup, ill just enjoy the game and hope for the best =]

"Carling cup draw, We got..." ..........knobbed again. One of our shippers is basically a building full of Chelsea fans and we pretty much guessed we'd end up drawing each other. So we're having to do it the hard way, win three on the bounce in the Champions League just to make the Last 16 and beat the Ruski roubles on their own turf for a League Cup semi. What odds we land Arsenal, the mancs or Chelsea in the FA Cup 3rd round?

I get this ominous feeling we won't be unbeaten in the league for many hours longer

You do wonder with it being them whether Rafa will put out a strong side or write it off as a probable loss whether we put out the 1st XI, 2nd XI or 3rd XI

A tough one but on our day we could beat them - it depends on what the starting team is. I guess the Carling Cup could become more important if we don't win our next Champions League match. The outcome of that match will have an impact on our attitude and team to beat Chelsea.

Yes our record against Chelsea in the cups is good ( apart from 2005 final )

How strange will it be to play Chelsea in a cup tie without having to put up with Mourinho's mind games in the build up? It's gonna be Twilight Zone stuff unless "JT" or "Lamps" step up to fill the void.
