I'm going to say it's because we've went out and attacked them, coupled with the fact they were must win games, besides Real. We seem to be able to pull a rabbit out of the hat when our backs are against the wall

Its because we have both gerrard and torres fit and in form - the guys have a lot more confiidence in themselevs - players are stepping up their game and most of the squad are on form .

just for the record, has any team ever scored 4 or more in three games in a row against former european cup winners?

we've played extremely well with virtually our strongest eleven finally being on the pitch for a number of games. we've also been helped that the teams we've played against actually try and play a bit and don't put ten behind the ball. even villa came and played two up top which meant they were short in midfield and gerrard ran riot.

the test will come against fulham and blackburn when we'll dominate possession for large periods and will have to try and break them down.
