Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

hello all;we are a canadian family of four who are coming to your fair city at easter.one of the main reasons for coming is to show my 2 boys(8,11yrs) and my wife what world class football is all about ,and the whole 'you'll never walk alone' atmostphere.I realize that I can write to LFC and apply for tickets at a lottery type application, but I would like something more concrete--as we are already booked and paid for-as far as airfare goes..LFC vs bolton is the game I am looking for.please forgive me if I appear ignorant as to purchasing such tickets--because I am.also if I must buy tickets from scalpers(thats what we call them in canada)where do I go to find such entrepreneurs?.also I am a season ticketholder with the edmonton oilers of the national hockey league..just a thought-if anyone wants to trade game tickets..thanks the cabinman

use the credit card hotline. log into www.liverpoolfc.tv and you will find the ticket information and how to apply. the tickets go on sale on a fixed date before the game and then you can call the credit card hotline.

you can also apply by post 18 days before the game, this will go into a ballot so still no gaurentee of tickets.

if you go to the site and click on 'tickets' you will find the relevant information

welcome to the forum mate

as peewee said, use the credit card line, you can get up to 4 tickets max for it, depending on the game of course (Bolton should be ok), so that will sort you out no probs.

Alternativley if you are in Liverpool several day (maybe a week) beforehand then you can get tickets from the ticket office at Anfield once they go on general sale.

thanks for the info guys;I will try the credit card route first;so if we are on the plane over to your fair city, and I struck out on the credit card route,I will have 2 options;go to the ticket office on game day or buy from scalpers.where would I meet such gentlemen for such a transaction, and how much would I expect to pay for 4 tickets to the bolton game?.also do you have to wai until 21 days before the match to buy tickets with your credit cards,or be a member?..thanks again...the cabinman

the credit card line is open for anyone, but I'm not sure when tickets for the Bolton game will become available through it.

It will be sold out by match day more than likely, so you'd have to be at the ticket office several days early if you were to pursue that.
