I've voted NO! But, as caretaker to help us till end of season, then yes. As long as everyone is aware that it is end of season only! Regardless of success he might achieve in one of the two cups left to play for.

We need to move forward, not back.

Kenny did something similar at Celtic 11 years ago (took temporary charge when Barnes was sacked) and it didn't work back then. I can't see it working this time round...we need a long term plan and (pains me to say this) a NEW 5 year plan...sob

Walked out of Anfield just shaking my fkn head in disbelief.
If he is still in charge for the Bolton game I will be amazed!
Who would bet against us being in the bottom 3 if he gets another 5/6 games?

I have to say NO.
Kenny is already contributing to our cause by being an inspiration and motivator to the players and youngsters.

What we desperately need now is a good coach (Joachim Lowe pls!!) to prepare the team for matches.

Id get rid of Roy and give Kenny the helm

As 4 the squad

Out:

Konchevsky, Agger, Aurelio, Kuty, Gerrard, Jova, Cole, Ngog, Babel, Torres, Poulsen Carra, Skrtel, Soto, Spearing, Darby, Aqualini

In: Hazard, Turan, Sanchez, Chamberlain, Santon, Defour, Lukaku, Suarez, Kjaer, Jones, Sakho, Wickham

Squad: Reina, Jones (The best and a steady enough back up)
Johnson, Kelly (Johnson in the right team with the right tactics can be brilliant, Kelly is young
                               solid and versatile)
Kjaer, Sakho, Jones, Ayala, Wisdom (Young composed abit of everything between them)
Santon, Wilson (Young composed on the ball and r threats from corners)
Sanchez, Chamberlain (Young fast skillful and can score afew)
Miereles, DeFour, Shelvey, Lucas, Suso (All young(ish) and have a bit of everything between
them, Suso could be the next kenny)
Hazard, Turan (2 young top class wingers who have 2 feet)
Lukaku, Suarez, Pacheco, Wickham (2 little and large partnerships all r young, have technic
                                                           and have goals in them)

I meant it when i said a totally rebuild is needed, may seem over the top 2 some on here (probally most) but i really feel it is needed. And again can be done financially

It's either him or Rafa until the end of the season for me.  Offer them a long term contract at the end of the season if they do well.

Ditto

I concur

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

One thing we should all be able to agree on is that Roy needs to go..NOW

I would say yes only if Kenny knows and accept he will only be an interim caretaker until the end of the season. I think a lot of the fans can accepet that unless we can find a suitable replacement right away.

Why has Kenny not ever, to my recollection anyway, backed Hodgson?
In my opinion he has only added to the discontent by not publicly endorsing Hodgson

I can't take those posts seriously. If you are doing it for effect then fine but if you are being serious then....

We know the season is fecked if Roy remains....

If we get rid and put Kenny in till the end of the season, results may improve, worst case we do what we are doing now ie heading for a bottom half finish.

With Kenny in charge, the fans would support him and the team, which clearly many are not doing now.

Personally I would appoint Kenny and Roy Evans, leave Sammy Lee as coach for now, and see what they can do for the rest of the season.

If it works, great, leave it in place and start to develop the boot room again, with the likes of Carra eventually moving into a coaching role.

If not, we find a new manager in the summer, which we would surely do anyway, and build from there.

I see little to lose in replacing Roy with Kenny now.
