Saying Lucas is the answer to everything and a bit of luck is just horse ****. We were just as close to relegation as top 4 ffs and no team has goes from midtable to the cl places in Pl history.
If he manages to get us into the top 4 it would be a great achievement, but as it looks that would be an unfair demand. Arsenal, Chelski had poor season and still were far ahead of us.
They will not have poor seasons every year.
But sure, go ahead and think that we'll all of a sudden go from midtable 3 seasons in a row to a fight at the top of the table.

Any future proposals/opinions pertaining to the plastics please leave in the suggestion box provided.

I've got the feeling that appointing Brendan Rodgers might just be the best decision this club has made since the summer of 1959.

Sorry I meant December, I should have just said 1959, silly idiot.

Brendan Rodgers has this aura around him, I was reserved when he was going to unveiled as our manager yesterday, but listening to his press conference and reading his interviews in the aftermath, he just seems like someone who understands this football club, who understands our expectations and whom hasn't promised us the world, but has said he will fight for this club.

I just hope he'll get the time and the support he needs from everyone at the club.

"Let's hope he doesn't read forums

It's been a while since we can be called the "Worlds Best Supporters""

Fair comment. But I was thinking more in terms of the fans in the stands.

I just thought it was a great quote from Brendan.
Acknowledging the fans and the great support, but at the same time, acknowledging the frustrations that we might have with some of the squad.
It shows that he is clued in.

Regarding those said members.

I think Enrique had a dip towards the end of the season. He'll come good again. Pacey strong full back. Ticks the box.
Henderson is busy, neat and tidy. Can lay off a pass, and move. He might be OK.
Andy will terrorize defenses. It will happen. He's young. I think his form at the end of the season was a glimpse of what we will see. Brendan will find a place for him, I think.
I can't believe that the form Downing showed with Villa will never appear again. And Brendan likes pacey wingers. It might just happen, with a bit of confidence coaching from the boss.
Charlie Adam can pass ok. But I'm not sure that he can move.
Brendan likes his players to press when they haven't got the ball. I don't think its in Charlies game. He would be the one I'd worry about.

While B.R. has said all the right things, I'll reserve my personal judgement of his performance after a few months of PL action in terms of results and play. Initially I was excited and optimistic about him taking over the show, but then statistically, if you look at all of Swansea's PL results last season, they were not really impressive, only a few giant killing acts here and there. It was all a Hodgson mid table performance. And appointing such a guy is risking another Hodgson nightmare again from a statistical point of view. But like I said, I'll reserve my judgement at least until Christmas.

You would fit right in the Westboro Baptist Church GYBS. It's your kind of ilk, considering how childish you are with your warped view of foreigners supporting the club. You seem to misinterpret the definition of "glory-hunter" though, when using them on foreigners. If all foreigners were glory-hunters, they wouldn't have picked Liverpool as the club hasn't done anything credible lately in the UK or Europe.

And based on experience, I know that you will be the first person to criticize Brendan Rogers when he doesn't perform well, and you'll be happy to do it, just the way you were when Joe Cole failed, and when you keep putting your bigoted opinions that Aquilani doesn't wish to play for Liverpool. But of course, you're the all-knowing, ever so credible GYBS aren't you?   If there's anyone who is a failure as a person, a poster, a supporter and a human being, it is you  :unclesam:

You mean Christmas 3 seasons later I hope? Brendan cannot be compared to Roy Hodgson, as the former is way more progressive and encourages an attractive style of play. Based on how he's been putting himself across, and his philosophies, I'm confident he's the man who will turn our fortunes around.

Lots of big words from a small boy typing on a keyboard.

Glory hunters latch onto the past and history.

Internet fans like you are the worst.

How am I a bigot by saying Aquilani doesn't wish to play for Liverpool ?

You accuse me of being a racist because I call you an Internet foriegn fan - well it's true - you are foriegn and you support the club on the Internet whilst playing Champ manager.

Go and read the Joe Cole thread and read some of the insults I received from you and others because I said it was a poor signing.

Failure as a human being ? You are quiet happy to dish out the insults aren't you from behind the keyboard - I get spare tickets for Liverpool matches - come over and spout your views at a match about Kenny etc and see how long before someone smashes you apart - then come and say your insults to my face small boy.

You were part of the crew that turned on Rafa , you were part of the crew that claimed Hodgson was our saviour after you hounded Rafa out , you are part of the crew that turned on Kenny. You are part of the reason why our fanbase is now disgusting. I would rather do without foriegn Internet fans like yourself who contribute nothing but bile and bullsh.it to the club. Buying your fake shirts and watching streams doesn't make you a Liverpool supporter.

The best part of you ran down your mums legs when you were born boy. Don't ever set foot near Anfield - you are not welcome
