Breaking news fowler returns on loan in jan

From a sentimetal viewpoint I'd happily donate a kidney and possibly even a b*llock to see Robbie don the red shirt again :)

But I'm not sure he has what it takes to make a success of it all. OK, on loan it's no real risk but my worry is that he'd come back and play sh*te and shatter everybody's memories of him as a true Liverpool legend. Having said that, imagine if he came back and started scoring for fun again? Fairytale stuff :)  :)

Hate to p*ss on chips, but have any of you that are moaning about the idea seen him play in the last month or so? He seems to have set up more or less every Man City goal of late.

His work rate is as good as it has been for the last 4 seasons - just a shame that he's not been on the scoresheet as much himself.

Robbie was awesome with all the great goals he scored but it was distanced memories. For the last couple of years, I only remember watching him labouring in every game and try to do things he can no longer do. It was just sad to see. Just don't want to see him here because he surely will disappoint most LFC fans. I really want to believe he can still perform but this is reality folks. Lets not ruin the good time we had together. If we can't find someone better than the present Robbie, we will be doomed....

So far i heard Morienes reccomended and everyone said no, then they said he was coming for sure and then everyone supported hi.

Then the talk shifted to Anelka and everyone said no he's got an attiutude problem, but then just a week ago i heard that we already had a pre-contract and the forum was celebrating, now it shifts back to morientes and the cycle continues.

No-one's suggesting Robbie comes back as the first line striker.

If there is a proposition for Robbie, it would be only if we get Morientes. If we get Anelka, Man C wont let Robbie go.

If we have Morientes and Baros as first choice, I've no problem with Robbie Fowler sitting on the bench next to Pongolle or Mellor. He's a good option to bring on during a game, and if one of the first choice strikers are injured, he's got the experience to start the game that Mellor and Pongolle dont yet have.

I'd love to see Robbie in the red shirt again, and I think he'd have enough hunger left to make it work.

I have a friend who cut's the tail pom-pom on Rafa's wifes poodle and she say's that Rafa is mad keen on taking Maradonna on a game by game basis to help appease SG's demands to play with star names !!

FOUR MONTHS SHY OF HIS 30TH birthday, Robbie Fowler is at the age where his career ought to be at its peak. He should be looking down at Wayne Rooney and Jermain Defoe with the England No 9 shirt glued to his back and saying to the younger strikers: “Not yet chaps.” Fowler is the most clinical finisher of his generation but also has enough to his all-round game to be picked for his guile. Something has gone unhappily wrong.
Injuries and personal problems mean that Fowler will never quite fulfil his enormous potential. That much has been apparent for some time. Only once in the past six seasons has he reached double figures when it comes to league goals. Expectations must change and the question is no longer whether he is the best, but whether he is good enough to command a regular place in a team aiming to cement a place in the top half of the Premiership

Robbie Fowler was a great player at Liverpool and right now, "was" is a key word because he is a has-been who had not taken care of himself as well as he cloud to prolong his level like many other real greats, past and present.

More of being nostalgic than anything else we have to remember that we are in the present and Ribbie at this present moment just can't cut it anymore.

I wonder if we could make another great ex red signing from Man City

the one and only...

wait for it...

KEVIN KEEGAN.

He was brill for us and could still do a great job playing along side MAradonna
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
