Isn't this wind up business getting a tad predictable? I guessed it was a wind-up when I saw the "breaking news" comment, any real story would have shown the subject in the title.

You should be trying that on the scots..................

TBH the jocks have got fuck all to laugh at jealous b@stards.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

It's your basic small club mentality, they'll find anything they can to make out they're better than you - "better" fans, "louder" fans, "more passionate" players etc. In truth it is merely that they resent what success the bigger club/team has and therefore their lack of success doesn't give them as much fulfilment as their rivals' failure ie they'd rather laugh at the misfortunes of a big team than see their own team succeed, safe in the knowledge the latter is unlikely anyway.

You'll see snipes from lower league fans, talking cr ap mostly. Talking of 'glory hunters' when they'd suddenly spring 50% or more fans if they go on a cup run or reach the top flight. Saying they don't want to be in the Premiership knowing they'll only be made to eat their words in the unlikely event they get there, and they'll be full of it if/when they do. The lack of anything much to shout about means they have to knock those who have something to shout about, they watch dross football week in, week out and resent the fact that others don't - by luck of birthplace or by supporting a club that isn't local.

I assume that people who aren't born in Florida shouldn't visit Disneyland, people not born in Rome should not visit the Vatican, people born outside of Liverpool should stay outside of Liverpool. By what unwritten rule are they governed? Who says everyone has to live by their rules? The only rules I live by are those I have no choice but to, and then not always!
