Not for the first time this season our passing and ball retention was poor.  Need to keep the ball better.

Say what you will about Crouch but he's got the Liverpool mentality.  The look on his face after he missed that sitter in the first half said it all--he was right p!ssed off with himself.  He then got his head down, kept working hard and came up trumps with the goal.  That's the kind of determination I love to see.  Nice one lad!

Awful performance this win seems like a loss, the same as the draw against Blackburn felt like a loss.
3 points appriciated but I hope and pray we start playing some decent football from now on.
We are letting poor teams look good even better than us at times.
Tonight when I watched the game it seemed like Liverpool where Bordeaux and they where us if you get my drift.
Tons of possesion shots on goal, corners free kicks and it just didnt go in.
I dont think I could stand watching Liverpool playing like other teams play against us.
3 points no authority
no one fears us
First away goal in the CL in 1 year terrible stats considering we won it the year before.
I just have no positives to take from this game what so ever.
The meeting on sunday obviously didnt work.
Rafa its time to start threatening with the sack Im afriad.
Dont these players know who they are playing for?
I have cryed, I have laughed, they have given me so much joy and pleasure, but when they under perform its so easily forgotten.
I wish they they didnt make me forget my memories because I love them with all my heart, they have ruined my relationships because I was more in love with Liverpool than me fella.
I just want something of that back, it shouldnt be that hard to do since they earn in one week what I earn in a year.
Liverpool pull yer fe.ckin socks up for gods sake your putting us through agony.
Please turn it around.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I gather the second half wasn't much better than the first then, Cig?   ???

It would be nice to see open expansive football but that aint Rafa's style.  Our passing is a joke this season and I cant think of many times when I have actually seen a fantastic move and applauded at what great football we were playing.

Tonight and at PSV away our opponents were there for the taking yet we didnt do the business.  I dont see any fluency, creativity or real guile in our attacks.  Its the occasional nice pass but v very good sides u need more and I dont know if we have it.

Dont get me wrong the trophies are great but since the Dalglish days the best football we played was under Roy Evans.  Now that was entertaining!!!

i think second half was virtually not better. the only big difference that we were a bit luckier than blackburn and bolton matches.

momo actually made abit difference to the overall display. and warnock looked like owen in disguise
:D
